Start SFTP Server / Stop SFTP Server

This control starts or stops the SFTP server.

The active state of the SFTP server survives if Robo-FTP Server is unloaded and reloaded. If Robo-FTP Server was in the ‘running’ state when it was unloaded, on restart it automatically starts.

When Robo-FTP Server is restarted in this manner, it is immediately minimized to the system tray thereby bypassing the initial display of its graphical user interface (GUI). You may right click on the tray icon to display the GUI if you need to alter any settings, add client(s), etc.

Green symbols (in this window and in the system tray icon) indicate that the server is online while red indicates offline. When one or more clients are connected to the server, the system tray icon appears with a green background.
